Recognising your postural type.

Many issues seen by Osteopaths, Sports massage therapists, Physiotherapist and Chiropractors are related to poor posture. Especially now that many of us are working from home. It is important to keep yourself mobile and to be aware of your posture, in all that you do. Pilates is not just an exercise class its a lifestyle change. Take what you learn in the class and apply to everything you do.

Muscles need to be balanced with normal movement patterns. Head is in neutral, no tilt forward or backward. Shoulders should be drawn down and back. The spine should retain its natural curve at the top and bottom. Pelvis in neutral. Knee joins are inline, not locked back.
